Privacy

A short, plain-English privacy policy.

Last updated May 4, 2026

We try to collect as little as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

When you subscribe to the Sunday Digest, we store your email address and the timestamp of your sign-up. That’s it. We don’t track opens, we don’t track clicks, and we don’t enrich your email with third-party data.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP, user agent, requested path) for up to 14 days for abuse prevention. We don’t use these logs for analytics.

What we don’t collect

We don’t use ad-network cookies, fingerprinting, session replay, or third-party analytics. There are no tracking pixels in our emails.

Who we share with

Email delivery happens through a transactional email provider; they process your address only to deliver the message you’ve asked for. We don’t sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email with a single click. To request a full deletion of your data, email privacy@plake.example and we’ll confirm within seven days.

Changes

If we ever update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top and note what changed in the next Sunday Digest.
